Our Next Series
Problem Solving
Our Tinkergarten outdoor, play-based learning program combines weekly online sessions with an at home curriculum to make purposeful outdoor play a part of every family’s routine.
In our upcoming three month series, we’ll foster kids’ problem-solving skills by helping them see the outdoors as their science lab. We'll do it all through a hands-on, weekly virtual session led by a Certified Tinkergarten Leader and the at home curriculum kids need to continue learning independently outdoors all week long.

Leaders take time to get to know each kid and adjust their approach to best engage them in class.
To further support engagement and peer learning, we also tailor our live classes towards two different age groups: 2 to 5 and 5 to 8.
What makes a 5 to 8 year old class different?
- The class pace moves more quickly, with time to slow down on kids' interests.
- Kids share ideas and questions using both verbal and non verbal communication.
- Nature content we share includes both accessible and mind-blowing facts. There are always new questions to research between classes.
- Play activities are open-ended, supporting a wide range of interests, and kids know that they drive their own learning process!
