Tinkergarten helps families and teachers get outside to make the most of their kids’ early learning years. Choose from several ways to learn with Tinkergarten:
Learn with a Local TG Teacher: Search our TG Teacher Directory to see what is offered near you.
Tinkergarten Home: Weekly video lessons, printable resources, activity ideas and a skill badge each season—just what families need to follow along at home.
Tinkergarten Plus: Classroom lesson plans and basic teacher training to support people who want to teach Tinkergarten in a school or early learning center or as part of homeschooling.
Tinkergarten Pro: Everything included in the Plus plan plus the curriculum, materials, training, resources, support and promotion teachers need to establish and grow their own Tinkergarten classes and programs.

Make a plan and gather materials:
Talk with kids about how and when to help.
Gather what you need.
- Clean Up: trash bag(s) and gloves
- Composting: soil/dirt and compostable foods (e.g. egg shells, orange peels)
- Planting Seedlings: seeds, soil, egg carton or other containers
- Bee Water Fountain: stones, water, bowl
Support kids in trying various activities:
- Watch the video lesson.
- Talk about various activities and which you would like to try.
